Cool, I’m now going to finish up this part of my recent trip. Day 2 brunch was at a coffee shop just below our hotel. we had chicken rice and some side dishes to go with. After which we proceed straight to the cable car station. We are going downhill on cable car. This is definitely one of the longest cable car ride that I have, and the exciting part is the downhill, if you have phobia of height, then you better think twice before stepping into it, My friend got the worst fright of his life, he almost close his eye throughout the ride. I think the ride is approximately 25mins plus minus.

Nothing much after we reached the other end of the cable station. Only have a couple of shops selling local products and some souvenir, that’s about all. stayed for about half and hour and we decided to head back uphill, as it was getting warm.

During the whole ride beside clicking away on my E71, I was laughing my head off just by looking at my friend who has a terrible fear of height. I just could not stop laughing.

Spent some time at the casino again and soon it was dinner time again, we went to Kampung cafe at our hotel, Local food was the theme, RM 38+++ per pax, but then food was just normal, service was lousy cause they are under staff.
but they do have a wide range of vegetarian food and Indian Cuisine, catering to the Indian tourist.

Went back to the Casino again to look and play on some machine again. Stayed until about 2am in the morning. Decided to head back to sleep, as we need to head back to Singapore in the afternoon.

Day 4, Last Day

We all sleep until around 9.30 am in the morning, Went down with my friends to have breakfast, damn expensive, 4 half boiled eggs, 2 coffee, 4 slices of bread, cost us around 30RM, which I can get in Singapore for 10RM, But then don’t cannot complain, it’s a tourist place, so definitely food will be more expensive. Went back to pack up after breakfast and we were lucky to have a clear sky when we reach the hotel, I took the opportunity to snap some quick pictures.

I did not really have the chance to snap pictures during other part of the journey, Maybe it is because I’m still not used to it. Will have to keep note of this. Anyway, thanks for reading and for me, this was definitely a nice getaway from my busy schedule and it is definitely the weather that is worth going for. 

I have pictures to load up for memories, but then no time, since it’s 2am in the morning now, I shall spend some time in updating this trip of mine almost a month back. Shall try to complete all the details before I forgot.

Shortly after we left Malaysia Causeway, I found out that our driver was a hell driver, He was driving so fast that I was felling a bit scared, he was always on the outer lane and driving pass the other similar bus with ease. As my back was hurting like hell, I also did not want to bother too much, just sleep and don’t think about it. Thank God, I am able to make it back to type this blog. 🙂

First Day at Genting

The fact that our driver drove so fast that, within 5 1/2 hours after we depart Singapore we reach Genting. At 3.30am in the morning, We have no place to go except to check in to our hotel and pay another extra day of room charge.

Wake up at 9 am in the morning and we went for breakfast and then to the theme park, but not before I pay 15RM for an hour at a cyber cafe to check up mails and update my twitter.

Merry Go Round, Did it bring back any childhood memories ?

We spend almost half a day at the theme park, and to me the highlight was the Go-Kart Ride, Because I have always wanted to ride a Go-Kart but never got the chance. Therefore it a first for me. but the joke was that, 3 of us all have driving license and we waited almost 2 hours just to ride on the Go-Kart for 10mins. 

We went back hotel and check out places for food. We went to Coffee Terrace located at Genting Hotel for Dinner.
Dinner was cheap and great considering the variety of food and service level. At approximately 58RM+++ per pax, I could vouch that it was worth every dollar.

It’s almost 3am now, I need to sleep, tomorrow or in fact a few hours later, it will be another long day for me. On part 3, I will highlight more on the cable ride that I have and some very nice picture of Genting taken from my hotel room, when the sky is clear. stay tuned for it.

This is really a tough week, Been busy with work and worrying about my Dad’s health and conditions. accordingly to doctor, his blood clot in his head is ok, but apparently he still looks a bit confused. he even asked me where he was yesterday.

After seeing him today, still the same, but his mood is much better, as doctor has promised to let him come back home if his blood test result is ok by Tuesday. I also hope that he can come back soon, as going to hospital after everyday after work is no joking matters. it really is tiring.

Life is fragile, My dad just ended up in hospital again, I’m very sad, Just one day before his fall, I was reminding him to be very careful in the way he drink his water, He always got choke on water and faint.

So the other day, when no one was around, he drank, fainted and had a very bad fall. knock his head hard and now he got internal bleeding on his brain. I really don’t know how things will turn out, but I hope that God will bless him and relieve some of his suffering.

He had too much suffering for the past few years already. Please do not make life hard for him. I pray for a speedy recovery for him.

Also make full use of everyday, make everyday worthwhile because life is fragile, you won’t know what will happen tomorrow.

Just 2 weeks back, I got a chance for a Weekend off, to go to genting for a short holiday, For the benefit of users who don’t know where genting is, Genting is in Malaysia and it is approximately 6000 feet above sea level. This is only my third trip up there in my whole life.

Singaporeans often go there because of one main thing, Casino. But then I’m not someone into gambling, I go there for the weather, weather over there in the day time will be approximately 17 degree to 24 degree and in the night time it goes down to 14 degree celsius.

I just love the weather there and it’s great to get aways from the humid and hot temperature in Singapore.

But never received a reply from her, How is she now ?
Is she allright ?????

OMG, since thursday when I went off for my short holiday,
my back is killing me. it’s so painful that I can hardly sit straight
and walk properly.

Anyway, I did enjoyed the short holiday except for the back pain.
fun place to go to, nice weather, nice people, nice casino 🙂

One more day to go, and I will be on my way to a short holiday.

So fast, It’s mid week already.
Times flies. Today I brought my Dad to see the eye doctor.
The review by Doctor today, Not Good. There is still bubble
inside his eye, mainly due to his diabetics control.

Though under heavy medication, his diabetics control is not good.
He is disappointed, He did not want to go for the eye injection.
He said that, at his age now, just let it be.

But I do wish that I can talk him round,
He is my Dad. I want him to be well, to be able to see properly.

Still wondering how to talk him round.

Buying Bread today was great.
as the shop was packed with people, I got the chance to
stole a few more glance at my bread girl.
Still as cheerful as ever. she was handling a client who is ordering
a cake for their child. I took the chance to stand there and while
chatting with my brother, I stole a few more glance at her.
when I was paying for my bread, we spoke one more sentence today.
“Miss, I want my 4 bread separated into 2 to a bag please”
she replied ” ok, separated right”
I replied “Yes, separated. thanks”
Paid up and left happily. Oh When can I find out her name.
